A school district in Anoka, MN is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage for multiple maternity leave assignments at elementary schools. This contract position offers an opportunity to work on a flexible 3:1 service modelthree weeks providing direct therapy services followed by one week of indirect services.
Position Details:
- Contract Duration: December 15, 2025 May 29, 2026
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Locations: Multiple elementary schools within the district, including Brooklyn Center and Blaine
- Caseload: Typical elementary school caseload including students in Setting III CDC programs; therapy-only caseload with a separate evaluation team assigned
- Service Model: 3 weeks direct therapy, 1 week indirect services
- Coverage includes partial onsite presence (e.g., 0.4 FTE to 0.8 FTE at specific locations)
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible to work in a school setting; Clinical Fellowship candidates (CF) are welcomeSLPA candidates are excluded
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, including those with diverse needs in specialized settings (e.g., Setting III CDC)
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple locations with adaptability and strong organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services in compliance with district and state standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech-language therapy sessions as prescribed
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings
- Follow the 3:1 service delivery schedule, providing indirect services during designated weeks
